Fundraising

Unfortunately, running a scout group is not a cheap business. Our expenses include hiring the hall, paying for materials and equipment, the annual insurance and membership fees to head office and paying for activities. Whilst much of this is covered by the weekly subs, we will be working on additional fundraising activities to boost funds and increase the range of activities we can undertake with the kids.

In the past we have run a Christmas Post, had a Bake Stall and sung carols at the village Pantomime. We are, however, always looking at new ways to raise money for the benefit of our kids, so if you have any ideas, please get in touch.
