Duck Race

Ballachulish Community Association holds a Duck Race each summer. The race starts from the Laroch Bridge, with the ducks being collected above the Albert Road Bridge anything from 20 minutes to an hour later! It had become a firm favourite, especially with the local kids, and we now have nearly 500 ducks taking part.

Ducks are on sale at least a week before the event, and in the past have been £2 each or 3 for £5.
